Edward Nagy, 84, of Oregon, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born in Toledo on September 16, 1921 to Emery and Anna (Sandor) Nagy. Ed was a WWII U. S. Navy Veteran Ed had worked for GM Powertrain as a tool and die maker for 27 years retiring in 1985. He was a lifetime member of Calvin United Church of Christ. Ed was an avid reader but his real love was being with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, LaDonna; children, Barbara (Jeb) Berg, Rebecca (Harold) Klaege; brother, Ernest (Alice) Nagy; grandchildren, John Berg, William Berg, David (Carrie) Klaege and Elaine (Matthew) Cranford; great granddaughter, Natalie Klaege.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday from 2 until 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 pm Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or to the Donor's choice.
