Edward L. Paffrath, 73, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013. Ed was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 7, 1940 to Theodore and Elizabeth (Galambos) Paffrath. He was employed in the housekeeping department at Mercy St. Charles Hospital for over 25 years. He was a member of the Rossford Eagles and enjoyed square dancing. Ed was a devout Catholic who attended mass often. His true passion was spending time at the Toledo Zoo. Ed is survived by his sister-in-law, Karen Paffrath; niece, Corrie (Nick) Nijakowski; nephew, Christopher Paffrath; and cousins, Larry Wojnar, Edward J. Kolanko, Edward A. Kolanko, and Deborah (Doug) Digby. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chuck Paffrath.
