IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edward W.
Rabbitt
October 6, 1945 – August 21, 2025
Edward William Rabbitt, 79, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at his home from heart complications stemming from Agent Orange poisoning. He was born October 6, 1945, in Oregon, Ohio, to the late Marucs and Laura Rabbitt.
After graduating from Clay High School, Ed served in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, he worked for over 20 years at the Post Office before retiring, and then worked for over 10 years at Get-Go, driving trucks. In retirement, Ed enjoyed traveling to watch nieces and nephews, as well as grandchildren, compete in their chosen sports or recitals or band performances.
In 1975, Edward married Linda (Jankowski), sharing 37 wonderful years until her death in 2012. Ed was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his time with his children, helping each one whenever they needed it or asked. When time presented, he loved to be with his grandchildren, watching each one become the amazing men and women they are today. He was also a stout and loyal friend, craving out time with each one.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; daughters, Sarah and Molly; and granddaughter, Hope. He is survived by his children, Mark and Matthew, as well as his grandchildren, Alec, Jacob, William (Will), and Bella.
