Edwin F. 'œBud' Draeger Jr., 90, of Monroe, Michigan and formerly of Elmore, Ohio passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Magnum Health Care Center in Monroe. Mr. Draeger was born in Toledo on November 25, 1921 to Edwin and Amanda Draeger Sr. He was employed for 33 years at the Libbey Owens Ford, Rossford plant, before his retirement in 1983. Edwin was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elmore where he served as deacon for many years. He also helped cut and tie quilts at the church. Bud loved working with flowers. He and Marilynn worked at the KOA Campground in Cherokee, N.C for three years where they did all the landscaping. Bud also volunteered at the Lutheran Home at Toledo where he delivered Meals on Wheels. Above all Bud was a family man who enjoyed showing his love for his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are his loving wife, Marilynn; sons, Gary R. (Carly) and Jeffery (Cindy) Draeger; brother, Richard Draeger; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert and sisters, Ruth, Doris and Dorothy. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery.
