Eileen Gladieux, 84, of Oregon, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2011. She was born in Bethel, Ohio on November 12, 1926 to Clyde and Velma (Mell) Jackson. She married Edward Gladieux on January 26, 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1997 after 51 years of marriage. Eileen was an office manager for several years with Woolco in Northwood, Ohio. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Surviving are her sons, William (Liz), Patrick (Joy) and Robert Gladieux; daughters, Barbara Goodman and Sharon (George) Glashauser; sister, Jeri Chapman; grandchildren, Aaron, Allan, Timothy, David, Andrew, Kelly, Tiffany, Ryan, Kelly, Kimberly, Eric, Robert, Michael, Gillian, Olivia, Patrick, Kimberly, Michelle, Melinda, and Eric, who was like a grandchild to her; many great-grandchildren; and her special dog Gwen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; grandchild, Tracy; sister Maxine Souder; son-in-law, Sandy Goodman. Family and friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio on Friday, March 25, 2011 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
