Eleanor Mae Perlaky, 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away April 17, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 20, 1927 to Michael and Regina (Pocse) Gaydos. Eleanor was a 1945 graduate of Notre Dame Academy. On May 10, 1947 she married the love of her life, Emery Perlaky. Eleanor worked for the Devilbiss Company before retiring in 1984. She was a parishioner of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society serving as Rosary Mother. Eleanor looked forward to every Sunday with her family, cooking her Sunday soup. She truly was the backbone of the family and absolutely loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Surviving are her loving husband of 67 years, Emery; children, Michael (Kathleen) Perlaky, Mary (Andrew) Perlaky Zemski, Rosemarie, Gerald (Becky) and John (Cheryl) Perlaky; grandchildren, Jeff (Molly), Mark (Mandy), Ryan (Courtney) Perlaky, Rachel (Sandy) Bordonaro, Amanda, Spencer, Logan Perlaky, Angela Burrey; 5 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Mary Jane Rocco. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and son, Anthony Perlaky. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday from 1:00-8:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Parish - St. Stephen'™s Church, 2018 Consaul Street, until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Eleanor'™s memory can be made to Cardinal Stritch High School, Epiphany of the Lord Parish '" St. Stephen'™s Church, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
