Eleanor R. Sherock, 77, of Oregon, Ohio, a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, passed away November 8, 2010, in her home. She was born in Niles, Ohio, on June 6, 1933, to Joseph and Rose (Pallante) DePascale. In her early years, Eleanor was employed at GE in Warren, Ohio. She had been a member of the former Holy Rosary Church. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; children, Susan, Joanne and Anthony (Sherri) Sherock; grandchildren, Nickolas and Sophia Sherock; sister, Elizabeth (George) Corado. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Annette, Anthony, Rev. Albert, Jenny and Neil DePascale, and Jane Mazza. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 4 p.m. until the time of a scripture service at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 48 E.
