Eleanor M. Bilek Smith, 79, of east Toledo, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 3, 2005, at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family who were the center of her life. Eleanor was born March 4, 1926, on Valentine Street where she had lived her entire life. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Fegyak) Bilek. Eleanor took pride in being a homemaker, baking and cooking, but her real love was spending time with her family. Surviving are her loving husband of 54 years, Maynard; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Smith; grandchildren, Lauren, Jeffrey and Mark; brother, Frank (Nancy) Bilek; sister-in-law, Annabelle Bilek; Goddaughter, Nancy Clark. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday from 2-9 p.m. and where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery.
