Eleanor C. Walls Eleanor C. Walls, 83, of Oregon passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 in Bay Park Community Hospital. Mrs. Walls was born in Toledo on January 27, 1927 to Thomas and Nellie (Redding) Keckstein. Eleanor was a gifted artist who enjoyed painting china with some of her pieces being published in a national magazine. But she will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother. Surviving are her loving husband, Gerald; sons, Thomas and Michael (Judy) Walls; grandchildren, Steve (Amy) and Ryan (Kate) Walls; great grandchildren, Emily, Allison, and Valerie Walls. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Leonard and Tommy Keckstein; sisters, Rita Shiple and Naomi Klepac. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 2 to 8 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 and proceed to St. Ignatius Church for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in Eleanor'™s memory be made to either the Susan B. Koman Cancer Fund or the charity of the donor'™s choice.
