Eleanore Sheronick, 97, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Michael and Gesine (Wendelken) Kuck. She graduated from Detroit High School and went on to Wayne State University where she received her Bachelor's and continued her education at Case Western where she obtained her Master's Degree. On October 19, 1953 she married the love of her life, Mike H. Sheronick. Eleanore worked as a librarian for the Toledo Lucas County Library for many years before retiring in 1989. She was a long-time member of Calvary Lutheran Church, loved reading, enjoyed golfing and was known as the story teller at work. Eleanore always kept a very positive outlook and attitude on life and will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her nieces, Mary Jeanette Tolles, Yvonne Linkes, and Karen Foster. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mike Sheronick; and brother Edward Kuck.

In accordance with Eleanore's wishes, graveside services will remain private.
