Elene J. Savage, 77, formerly of Northwood, OH passed away December 1, 2003 in the Arbors at Oregon Nursing & Rehabilitation Home. She was born September 1, 1926 in Toledo, OH to Roy and Ada (Burrel) Mapes. Elene was employed by Great Lakes Stamping as a laborer for 30 years. Surviving are her son, James A. Savage, and grandson, James A. Savage. Elene was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James W. Savage. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
