Elinor M. Gocsik, 90, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016. Elinor was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 25, 1925 to Henry and Helen (Matyok) Sabo. She was a devoted member of Calvin United Church of Christ where she was active as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the choir for many years. Elinor is survived by her granddaughters, Jennifer Gocsik and Michelle Gocsik. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Gocsik; son, John Gocsik Jr.; and brother, Robert Sabo. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday January 15, 20165 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 10:00 am.
