Elisabeth K. Hinz, 95, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 2, 2015, at the Lakes of Monclova. Elisabeth was born in Neu Jegerishken, Germany on November 23, 1919. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church Toledo for many years. Elisabeth enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crocheting for her friends and family. Her true passion was spending time with her family and sharing her wonderful baked goods with those she loved. Elisabeth is survived by her daughters, Inge (James) Morton, Margita ( James) Begg, and Rita (Timothy) Barton; grandchildren, Lyndsey Murphy, Eric Begg, Alissa (Ozan) Yakali, Aaron (Laurie) Barton and Adam ( Jordanna) Barton; great-grandchildren, Julianna and Michael Slivinski, Kelton Murphy, Olivia and Drew Yakali, and James and William Barton. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emil; and grandson, Joseph Slivinski Jr. Elisabeth's family wishes to thank the caregivers and the staffs of Gentiva Hospice, Lakes of Monclova, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care over the years. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice. Eggleston Meinert & Pavely Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
