Elizabeth J. Abde, 53, of Naples, Florida, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011. She was born on August 27, 1958 to Richard and Norma Jean (Cook) Wilkinson. Liz was a graduate of Waite High School class of 1976. Liz enjoyed exercising, boating on the Great Lakes, and cookouts with family and friends. She worked alongside her husband at the Flying Bridge at Abde'™s Steakhouse. In later years, she worked at The Picture Factory in Naples, Florida. She was a member of St. Paul'™s Greek Orthodox Church in Naples. Liz is survived by her husband George; father, Richard (Debbie); sons, Chuck (Angela) Abde, and Matthew Abde; grandchildren, Charlie and Jacob Abde; sisters, Linda Wing, Alice (Carl) Kopp, and Kathleen Wilkinson; brothers, Ron (Marcella) Wilkinson and Jeff (Karine) Wilkinson; mother-in-law, Relma Abde, and cat, Bart. She was preceded in death by her mother. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 2:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
