Elizabeth E. Allen, 87, of Oregon, OH passed away Sunday, August 30, 2009, at her home. She was born May 12, 1922, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Bryden and Fannie Daniels. She was the widow of David Allen who passed away on August 5, 2009. Elizabeth was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. Mrs. Allen retired from St. Charles Hospital where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Glenna (Jerry) Rife; sons, Mark, Howard (Debbie) and Harold Allen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Weaver. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Wednesday, September 2, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:30 p.m.. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
