Elizabeth 'œBetty' Gall, 86, of Maumee, OH, and formerly of the Birmingham neighborhood in East Toledo, passed away July 18, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo on November 4, 1925 to Charles and Mary (Kurtolick) Kovacs. In her earlier years, Betty was employed at Kimball Glass. She was a member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church, the Rosary Altar Society and VFW 4906 Ladies Auxiliary. Betty was a wonderful Hungarian cook and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going on casino trips and dancing with her sister Mary Jane and was an avid Detroit Tiger Fan. Surviving are her sons, Steven Jr. (Dorothy), David (Mary Jo) and Kevin (Suzanne); grandchildren, Devon, Michelle, Matthew, Katlyn, Spencer and Kassidy; great grandchildren, Kylie, Kayla and Kaden; sisters, Mary Jane Toth, Irene Shaner, and brother, Elmer Kovacs. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Steven Gall Sr. Visitation will be held at the Kinsey-Pavley Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul Street on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. ��" 7:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Monday at 9:40 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Expressions of sympathy in Elizabeth'™s memory can be made to St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
