Elizabeth M. Brzuchalski, 92, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Goerlich Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 1, 1919 to Mate and Anna (Patrilla) Sirilo. Elizabeth was a member of the VFW Post 4906 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church where she served on the Rosary Altar Society. She was also an avid Bingo and Bunco player.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Louis (Irene) Brzuchalski, Betty (Joseph) Michalak, Patricia Fuehr, Rosemarie Brzuchalski, Darlene Horosewski, and Gerald (Monica) Brzuchalski; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother, Ernest Sirilo; sister, Lola Anello. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; son, Robert; sisters, Anna Wilczynski and Helen Vass, Mary Varady; brother, Emery Sirilo; great-grandson, Timothy Peppers.
Friends may call at the Kinsey Funeral Home, 2001 Consaul St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Rosary services at 4:00 p.m. and VFW Auxiliary Services to follow. Prayers will begin in the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. on Monday and proceed to St. Stephen'™s Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Elizabeth'™s name are asked to consider the Goerlich Center or Odyssey Hospice.
