Elizabeth Marie Buehler, 85, of Oregon passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2003 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Marie was born on March 25, 1917 to James and Elizabeth (Materny) Wyper in Toledo. She was the widow of Verle Buehler. Marie was employed as a city planner for the Toledo Lucas County Plan Commission for 20 years,retiring in 1984. She was a member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Lotus Chapter, Order of Eastern Star #477, Public Employees Retirement Club, the Womens Educational Club, the Civics and Garden Clubs. Surviving are her daughters, Gay (Steve) Gibson of Deshler, Carol (Dan) Tilton of Lady Island, South Carolina; son, James (Darlene) Buehler of Toledo; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Wyper. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 am in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 pm. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
