Elizabeth Chovan, age 84, of East Toledo, passed away Friday, June 18th, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 14, 1919 in Kosicke Olsany, Solvakia to Andrew and Maria Hazgut. Elizabeth married John Chovan on November 15, 1937 and he preceeded her in death on May 26, 1990. She was also preceeded in death by her daughter, Yolanda, parents, Andrew and Maria, sister Marishka and brothers Stefan and Frank. Elizabeth is survived by her sons John (Joyce), Frank (Debbie) and Larry, daughter Nancy (Joseph) Zemenski. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-9 pm Monday, June 21 at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road Millbury, OH. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 22, in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Elizabeths family would like to thank Hospice of NWO and a special thank you to her nurse Carrie.
