Elizabeth A Dalton, 61, of Oregon, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2004, in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. Elizabeth was born on February 2, 1943, in Oregon, Ohio, to Edward and Genevive (Deney) Harter. Mrs. Dalton was employed as a secretary at several local motor freight companies and the Pepsi Cola Company before her retirement. She was the widow of James Dalton and was previously married to Donald Smith and Phillip Baum Sr. Elizabeth was active with the BMW motorcyle club in her early years and enjoyed sewing and quilting and especially playing bingo.
Surviving are her son, Phillip Baum Jr.; grandchildren, Austin and Phillip Baum III; special friend, Ray Ellis and her companion, Rex, her dog.
Family and friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, where visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. followed by burial at Lake Township Cemetery. The family suggest memorial contributions be made to either Planned Pethood or the American Cancer Society.
