Elizabeth Douglas, 47, of Northwood passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012 in Toledo Hospital. Elizabeth was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 21, 1964. She loved nature, reading, music and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Steven Douglas; her brothers, Chris Douglas, Kevin Jones and David Jones; uncle and aunt, David Douglas, Kim Douglas and their daughters, Jenai Jennings, Aleah Douglas and Anisa Douglas; aunt and uncle, Brigid Crantz, Chris Crantz, and their daughter, Brianna Crantz. She was preceded by the death of her parents; and her uncle, Colin Douglas. In addition to family members, she will be missed by her closest friend and partner, Theresa Pisarski. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 7:00 pm in the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 pm. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions should be made to the donor'™s favorite charity or the American Heart Association in memory of Elizabeth Douglas. Elizabeth will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, her strong will, her fun-loving nature, and her determination in the face of obstacles.
