Elizabeth "Lizzy" Nichols, 8, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at home. Lizzy was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 10, 2008 to Ryan Nichols and Raven Nichols. She was the light of her parents' lives and brought joy to all who met her. She enjoyed reading and would read anything she could get her hands on. Lizzy loved playing outside and was never afraid to get dirty. She especially loved water, whether it was a day at the beach or just running in the rain. She was always happy and loved spending time with her Grandma. They would read and put puzzles together. She loved helping her dad anytime he was working on his cars and always greeted him at the door when he got home from work with hugs and kisses. Lizzy also loved to help her second mom, Amanda, cook meals. Lizzy touched many lives in her short time on earth and spent most days with a smile on her face. She was a blessing and a treasure to all of her family and friends. Lizzy is survived by her parents, Ryan (raven) Nichols and Amanda Stover; grandparents, Robert Nichols and Debbie Nichols, and Susie (Danny) Collins; great grandparents, Jeanne Blaksley and Shirley Stanley; uncle, Jeff Nichols; aunt, Jessica Collins; and many great aunts, uncles and relatives. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Neil Blaksley; great uncle, David Blaksley; and grandpa, Gerald Johnson. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury Ohio on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm.
