Elizabeth J. "Betty" Mascsak, 79, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away into the hands of Our Lord, February 14, 2016. Betty was born in Toledo, Ohio March 29, 1936 to Andrew J. and Helen (Toth) Mascsak. After graduation from Central Catholic High School her life path took her to Florida where she pursed her lifelong ambition of being a hairdresser. Betty truly enjoyed life and was proud of her family; especially her nieces, nephews, and their children. She also had a deep passion for animals. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara (McDaniel) Mascsak; nephew, Andrew Mascsak Jr.; nieces, Kathy Greaves, Jeanne (William) Broughton, and Patty Mascsak; loving cousin, Irene Csanyi who was by her side when she passed; along with many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Andrew Mascsak Sr., and sister, Helen Mascsak. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 am in Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St. Stephens Church, 2018 Consaul Street, Toledo, where the family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Epiphany of the Lord Parish.
