Elizabeth A. Snyder, 92, of Sylvania, OH passed away August 29, 2004 in Lake Park Nursing Home. She was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 10, 1912 to Antonio and Elizabeth (Kovacs) Butcher. Elizabeth was a self-employed governess for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Calvin United Church of Christ and the Hungarian Club. Surviving are her grandchildren, Marcia A. Conn, John Borgelt, Tiffany Roshong, Jeremy L. Conn and Mandi Borgelt; great-grandchildren, Kara, Natalya and Corbin. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Snyder and daughter, Doris Borgelt. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Willow Cemetery.
