Elizabeth P. "Betty" Swanson, 87, of Toledo, OH passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo.  Elizabeth was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 12, 1920 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Toth) Koren.  She retired as resident manager of Luther Grove in 1986.     Surviving are her children, Elizabeth (Donn) Meinert, Howard "Butch" (Marcia) Komives and Julia (Edward) Woods; brother, Abel (Jeanne) Koren; grandchildren, Lisa (Dennis) Pavley, William  Suchland, Edward (Brenda) Woods Jr., Clinton (Sara) Woods and Shane (Alicia) Komives; great grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Pavley; Kyle and Rachel Woods, Abigail and Wesley Woods, Keller and Quinn Komives and several nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph (Ann) Koren, sister, Nancy Reynolds.  Friends and family may visit from 3 until 8 pm on Monday, March 24, 2008 in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road Millbury, Ohio where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 10:30 am.  Interment will be in Lake Township Cemetery.   Memorial contributions in Elizabeths memory may be given to Lutheran Home at Toledo or the Toledo Humane Society.
