Elsie "Rose" Allgier, 98, passed away October 23, 2008 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 14, 1910 to Fredrick and Clara (DeCant) Everhardt. Rose was a life-long member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and was very dedicated to her entire family.   Surviving are her sons, Edward and Robert (Charlotte) Allgier; daughter, Nancy Mayo (Gene Diemer); 7 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harley; 7 brothers, and 1 sister. Rose had a special grandson, Brian Mayo, who was waiting in heaven for his grandma.  Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
