Elsie M. Cousino, 90, passed away February 10, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie, Michigan, on February 27, 1919, to Claud and Dora (Mominee) Young. Elsie's proudest accomplishment was raising 13 children. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, knitting, quilting and holding "babies". Elsie is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Kanavel, Carol Turner, Eleanor (John) Nyers, Judy (Dominic) Dioletti, Larry (Lucy), Ken, Terry (Linda), Rick (Lydia), Bill (Deb), Jeff (Gail), Scott (Tracy); 3 brothers; 3 sisters; 34 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; sons, Wayne and Jerry; son-in-law, Lloyd; granddaughter, Brenda Crowl; grandson, Wayne Cousino. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010, at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with interment to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
