Elsie A. Johns, 77, formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Manor of Perrysburg. She was born in Kansas City, MO on June 12, 1932 to Leonard and Anna (Frost ) Braton. Elsie enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Oregon, Ohio. She and her husband, Glenn retired to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1988, and started the Flint Street Fellowship Food Bank and Soup Kitchen to help those less fortunate. Elsie also volunteered with the Salvation Army for many years. Surviving are her children, Michael Johns of Clarendon, PA, Debbie (Jim) Burke of Bowerston, OH, Kathy (Steven) Gettys of Conover, NC and Steve (Shawnelle) Johns of Rossford, OH; grandson, Tyler Johns; brothers, Richard (Vicki) Braton of Osceola, MO and Stan Braton of Kerrville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Glenn. Services will be private with interment in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Contributions in Elsie's memory can be made to the Flint Street Fellowship in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes.
