Emma E. Martin, 87, of Northwood, OH, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 25, 2004. Emma was born in Delaware, Ohio on September 16, 1916, to Joseph and Irene (Cunningham) Duffey. She had retired from Champion Spark Plug after 33 years of service. Emma, when not spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, enjoyed shopping, cards and playing the organ. Her real love was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer Martin.
Surviving are her loving children, Sharon Szuch, Dean (Anne) Martin, Malinda (Scott) Meinhardt; grandchildren, Amy (Bob) Seiler, Michael (Karen) Martin, Tom Szuch, Erika (Brian) Ager, Andrea (Jeff) Trainer, Zachary (Lisa) Meinhardt, Erin Szuch, Brian Meinhardt, Leah Meinhardt, Danyell (Jeff) Hall, Chris Stoffer, Nick and Erica Vara: great-grandchildren, Emma, Sophie, Augustus, Alexis, Robert, Rebecca, Logan, Alyssa and Ashley; special loving nieces, Darlene and Suzanne.
Visitation will be held in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, on Sunday, February 29, 2004 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
