Emmy P. Gatzke, 87, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Emmy was born in Oberstedten Taunus, Germany on January 20, 1929 to Gottfried and Berta Gufler. She was a member of Bethleham Lutheran Church. Emmy is survived by her daughter, Paula (Thomas) Kosakowski; grandchildren, Amy (Mike) Palazzolo, Matthew (Jennifer) Kosakowski, Julie (Chad) Smith; great grandchildren, Lauren, Emily, Madelyn, Joshua, Evelyn; and step-sister, Taya of Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, Meinhart. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday January 29, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Bethleham Lutheran Church or The American Heart Association.
