Enedina Delgado, 79, of Toledo, Ohio has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family and loved ones on March 15, 2010 in her home. She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Enrique 'œHenry' and Enedina Garcia. Enedina retired in 1994 from Medical College of Ohio where she had been employed for 25 years in the housekeeping department. She was a member of the First Spanish Church of God. Enedina enjoyed cooking and catering special occasions, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She also cooked for the Jerry'™s Kids Children'™s Network Telethon and will be very much missed there.
Surviving are her children, Gilbert Jr. (Rosie), of Oregon, Ohio , David (Guadalupe) of Toledo, Juan Sr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Daniel (Martha) of Orange Grove, TX, Alfred (Debbie) of Graytown, OH, Rosie (Rob) Low of Pittsburg, PA, Susie (Frank) Ramirez of Alice, TX, Julie Delgado of Toledo, OH and Jeremiah Delgado; brothers, Jessie and Enrique Garcia; sisters, Janie, Soto and Susie Castro of Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Enedina was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert (2008); parents; and son, Albert Delgado.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Spanish Church of God 1331 East Broadway Toledo, OH on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park.
