Enemencio C. Alfaro, 77, of Toledo, OH passed away at home quietly and peacefully on May 6, 2007. He was born on December 19, 1929 to Ramon and Sofia Alfaro in Catarina Texas. He owned and operated several businesses including La Palomita Restaurant and Alfaro & Sons Construction Company. He also was employed at LOF for 16 years and finally retired from Show Case Cinema. Enemencio was a very proud and loving father of all his children. He was especially proud of his Hispanic heritage and enjoyed dancing and traveling.
Surviving are his children, Enemencio Jr. (Laurie) Alfaro, Gustavo (Sherita) Alfaro, Joanne (Victor) Serrano, Frances Garcia-Urbina, Edward Bo (Cherie) Garcia, Angelo (Debbie) Alfaro, Gina (Ron) Kusz, Annette TerDoest, Frances (Randy) Adams, Angela (Kaei) Majors and Elias (Cristina) Alfaro; 38 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Nena (Julio) Alfaro-Flores, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Magdalena, second wife, Joanne, 4 children, Ramon, Sofia, Richard and Eloise; granddaughter, Sonya and sister, Anastacia.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Wednesday from 4-9 pm and Thursday from 2-9 p.m. with family prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home on Friday with interment following in St. Richard Cemetery, Swanton, OH. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Enemencio's memory are asked to consider the Sofia Quintero Art and Culture Center or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
