Obituary

Erma M. Marquette, 82, of Oregon, OH passed away February 5, 2004 in Orchard Villa. She was born on December 17, 1921 in Toledo, OH to Ernest and Elsie (Doering) Adkins. Erma was the widow of Joseph J.Marquette, who passed away on January 20, 2004. She had been employed as a secretary for the Lucas County Welfare Department and for St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Erma was a member of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Alba Club, past member of the Coy School Mothers Club and enjoyed playing Bingo for many years. Surviving are her children, Jo Ann (Ron) Wilka, Walbridge, OH, Carol (Dan) Lucas, Cumming, GA, Nancy (Daniel) Jaegle, Denver, CO, and James R. (Kim) Cousino, Oregon, OH; sister, Marian (Lester)Cowell; brothers, Norman (Grace) Adkins and Robert (Jackie) Adkins; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Adkins; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, parents; daughter, Sharon A. Cousino and brother, Howard Adkins. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home,Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday, February 8, 2004 from 1-9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30 am in Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church 106 W. Plummer St. Toledo, Ohio with interment following in Lake Township Cemetery. Contributions in Erma's memory can be made to Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Heartland Hospice or Orchard Villa. Erma's family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Orchard Villa.
