Obituary

Erma (Markley) Pollock, 90, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on July 20, 2005, at The Toledo Hospital. She was born in Benton Township, Oak Harbor, Ohio, the daughter of George and Cora (Dehn) Markley on December 3, 1914. She was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School and an office worker in Oak Harbor and Toledo. After her marriage to John H. Pollock in 1949, she worked in Toledo at the former H.H. Buggie and Company and the downtown Athletic Supply Company. Erma was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, Seaman St., Toledo. Surviving are her children, Mark L. (Terry) Pollock, Oregon, Sharon L. (Steve Keough) Zunk, Temperance, Michigan; one grandson, Nicholas Zunk; two great-granddaughters, Angel Nickole Zunk and Gabrielle Michelle Zunk; one sister-in-law, Martha Kidd; four nephews, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Markley; husband, John H. Pollock and many cousins. Friends and relatives will be received at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Ave., on Saturday, July 23, 2005, from 5-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Elliston Cemetery, Benton Township, Elliston, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or to First St. John Lutheran Church, Seaman St., Toledo, Ohio. Visitation: Visitation Times Saturday, 5:00-9:00 p.m. & Sunday, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Oregon Chapel
