Ernest J. Nelson Jr., 88, of Toledo and formerly of Fleitz Drive in  Oregon, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February, 14, 2007 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital.  Ernest was born in DuBois, PA on November 15, 1918 to John and Olive (Woods) Nelson.  He was a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines.  Mr. Nelson was the owner and operator of Aero Exterminators on East Broadway for 52 years before his retirement in 1998.  He was a 52 year member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, a 50 year member of Paragon (Port Lawrence) Masonic Lodge, Hi-12, Zenobia Shrine, Zenobia Road Runners, East Toledo Club, Old Newsboys and the Downtown Toastmasters Club and a lifetime member of the Toledo Pest Control Club.  He also was past president of the Oregon Kiwanis Club, past president of the East Side Central PTA, past president the Zenobia Stewards and past vice president of the Scandinavian Club.   Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Patti; twin sons, Ernest John and John Ernest; daughters, Patty (Gene) Naujock, Elona (Will) Orlet; brothers, Robert (Veronica) Frost; sister, Pauline Schoenrock; grandchildren, Eric Klein, Aaron (Maru) Klein, Mark Klein, Matthew (Dimity) Orlet, Kurt (Annie) Orlet, Theodore (Simone O'Brien), Eric (Linda) Naujock, Mathew (Jen) Naujock; great grandchildren, Zoe and Gavin Orlet, Kelsey Klein, Alexis Klein; nieces and nephews, Jay and Sharon Anderson, Bill and Ann Schoenrock.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Frost.   Visitation will be held on Saturday from 5 to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road.  Dendarah Court services will be Sunday at 7:00 pm followed by Paragon Lodge services at 7:30 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 pm in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Woodville and Elmore Street.  Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Mausoleum.  Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Ernie's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church.  The family wishes to thank both Pastor Beth and Pastor Tom along with Dr. Fernandes and the 2nd floor nurses at St. Charles Hospital for all their loving care.
