Ervin A. Goodeman, 82, of Toledo, passed away December 2, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
He was born in Port Clinton, Ohio March 19, 1927 to Elmer and Hulda (Schultz) Goodeman. Ervin was employed with LOF for 31 years prior to retirement. In later years, he worked as a security guard at the Toledo Art Museum and was named "Guard of The Year" in 2005. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.
Ervin is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances; children, Deb (Tony) Hornstein, Tony (Cathy) Goodeman, Julie (Jerry) Keith; grandchildren, Deidre ( Daniel) Needs, Nicole (Greg) Bach, Jason (Jennifer) Goodeman, Aaron Goodeman, Jeffery (Samantha) Feller, Jamie and Justine Feller; great-grandchildren Jacob, Caden, and Addyson Feller; and brother Lee Goodeman. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Luther and sister Ruth Schmidt.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 6th at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel from 1pm until time of memorial service at 3pm. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Art Museum, or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
