Eric Ruch, 65, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away at his home Monday, June 10, 2024. Eric was born December 31, 1958 in Oregon, Ohio to Ervin and Joann (Hatt) Ruch. He was a graduate of Lake High School and was employed 40 years with Walbridge Coatings / Material Science Corporation retiring in 2022. He was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed boating and fishing, and traveling with his family across the United States. He was a member and past president of the New Sportsman's Club, Millbury, Ohio and former member of the Lake Township Volunteer Fire Department. Eric was a lifelong fan of Michigan Wolverines Football and could be found on the sidelines cheering on his grandchildren's sporting events.

Eric is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan; children, Braden (Leslie) Ruch, Nicole (Brian) Buschmann, Brian (Brandy) Williamson, and Scott (Melissa) Williamson; grandchildren, Tatum, Bryce, Caleb, Paige, Kaylee, Brennan, Katie, Anna, Abby, Patrick, Danielle, and Kennedy; siblings, Victoria Keller, Dana (Danny) Wilson, and Rachael Jaegly; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Frederick Keller.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, June 14, 2024, at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment: Lake Township Cemetery.
