Ervin passed away peacefully on July 23, 2015 in the care of Hospice at Lenawee County, Michigan. He was born on October 12, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio where he was a resident for most of his life, but had resided in Michigan for the last 25 plus years. Ervin leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Marilyn Louise; six sons, Russell (Brenda) Schell and family, David (Tina) Schell and family, Ken (Mary) Sweet and family, Randy, Rick and James Sweet and their families; sister Phyllis Rist and family. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
