Stella Escobar, 69, passed away on September 13, 2016 at Advanced Genesis Nursing Home in Point Place. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 23, 1947 to Augustine and Rose (Navarro) Escobar. Estella was a drug and alcohol counselor and worked at Compass, Aurora House and Adelonte. She was a member of Toledo Restoration Church. Stella is survived by her daughters, Rosanne Escobar, Katherine DeLaGarza, Gloria Escobar (Curtis Diaz); sons, Robert Escobar, Paul (Penny) Escobar; siblings, Gloria Cantu, Augustine Escobar, Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Arce; sister, Manuella Escobar; brothers, Thomas and Benito Escobar; grandhildren, Anjalique and Felicity Susanowiz. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Cemetery.
