Esther M. Hempel, 89, of Cooper CIty, Florida, and formerly Toledo, Ohio passed away on January 24, 2015. She was born to Maude and Harry Dexter. Her parents preceded her in death along with her husband, Merle; brothers, Amil, Louis, Melvin, Clyde, Paul, and Howard; sisters, Alma Smith and Hazel Bell Reese. Esther is survived by her sons, Douglas, of Cooper City, Florida and Jeff of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughter, Tory. Local arrangements were handled by National Cremation of Lakeworth, Florida. There will be no services in Ohio.
