Esther M. Stein, 87, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2003 at the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was born on December 31, 1915 in Toledo, Ohio to Christian and Mary Louise (Schroeder) Onnenga. Esther was employed with the former Electric Autolite for 20 years and helped her late husband, George farm in Curtice and Northwood for many years. Surviving are her nephews, William (Cathy) Caldwell and Donald Sherry) Koenig; and many great and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Caldwell and Alice Koenig. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue Oregon, Ohio on Wednesday from 2-9 pm. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in N. Oregon Cemetery.
