Esther "Tess" Mae Wheat, 63, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away in Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Wednesday, November 9, 2005. She was born to LeRoy and Ruth (Newkirk) Everhardt in Toledo on February 21 1942. Esther was a member of Western Avenue Baptist Church and VFW Post 2984 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a wonderful person who was a mother to all. Surviving are her daughter, Shannon (Isaac Barton) Weitzel; grandsons, Stephen Weitzel and Dakota Cook; brothers, Danny (Chris) and Marvin (Virginia) Everhardt, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Amy Whitehead; brother, Roy Everhardt and sister, Marian Everhardt. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2005, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service time at 2 p.m. in the Eggleston Meinert Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury. Interment will be at Lake Township Cemetery. Those wishing to express their sympathy in Esther's name may consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donor's choice.
