Esther M. Weiland, 90, formerly of Northwood, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021. Esther was born December 20, 1930 in Northwood, Ohio to Daniel and Tillie (Leonhardt) Tippey. Her greatest joy was reading the Toledo Blade. Esther is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Tippey; niece, Sue (Joe) Ward-Ziegler; nephew, Mark (Lisa) Tippey; step-daughter, Tanya (William) Walker; along with many great nieces, nephews and family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Weiland; brothers, Charles Tippey and Robert Tippey; and niece, Deb Williams. Private graveside services: Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Elara Hospice or Parkcliffe of Northwood. Esther's family wishes to thank the staff of Parkcliffe of Northwood and Elara Hospice for their loving care.
