Ethel L. Bodi, 92, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2003 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. she was born on August 8, 1911 in Grass Lake, MI to Frank and Eva (Easterwood) Fisher. Ethel was employed with the former Electric Autolite for 10 years, Lasalle & Cook for 10 years and K-mart for 10 years. She was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church, past secretary of the Lutheran Day Center, member of the Lutheran Home Guild and volunteered for many years at the Lutheran Old folks Home. Surviving are her daughters, Phyliss (Whitey) Wagner and Linda (Richard) Stanley; son, Thomas (Joni) Bodi; sisters, Clover (Walter) Shimman and June DeCant; brothers, Clifford (Betty), Frank (Ruth) and William Fisher; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie; daughter, Christine Elizada; brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Cecil, James, Raymond, Oran and Bud Fisher. Friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon, Ohio on Monday from 4 to 8 pm where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 AM.
