Ethel O. "Carole" Counterman, 61, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on January 12, 2004 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart, Florida. She was born on January 12, 2004 in Toledo, Ohio to Leslie and Edith (Wyant) Glass. Carole was employed as a merchandiser with K-Mart Corporation for 17 years and was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Hobe Sound. Surviving are her husband, Robert J.; daughters, Diana L. Doty of Northwood, OH, Sandra L. Frazier of Hobe Sound, FL and Angela Nastari of Stuart, FL; brothers, Marvin Glass of Oak Harbor, OH and Robert Glass of Oregon, OH; sisters, Virginia Gladieux of Toledo, OH, Marie Perry of Winchester, KY and Marjorie Counterman of Genoa, OH and 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Counterman. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 am.. Interment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
