Ethel P. Nero, 89, of Clay Center, OH, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2007, at St. Charles/Mercy Hospital. She was born in Clay Center on January 5, 1918, to John and Theresa (Gulas) Angyan. Ethel was a resident at Harborside at Perrysburg. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and socializing. Ethel was the widow of John Nero who passed away in 1977.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Nero and Rita Dipman; granddaughters, Dana and Angelique Dipman; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Chloe and Chase; niece, Elaine (Jim) Perry and many other cousins and relatives. Ethel also was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Anna and Mary.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd., on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 2 until 9 p.m. with a 4:30 p.m. wake service. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. and proceed to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ethel's name may be sent to Harborside of Perrysburg or Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
