Eugene A. Bowers, 73, of Toledo, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on March 6, 1932, to Frank and Mary (Simko) Bowers. Gene was employed by Lucas County as a maintenance man at the County Courthouse, and was a member of St. Stephen Church. He was a former member of the National Guard, where he served 2 years. Surviving Gene is his son, Wayne Bowers; sister, Roberta (Ronald) Mohr and brother, Dennis (Ann) Pappas, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Hilda Jean. Friends and family may visit at Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH, on Friday, November 11, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon.
