Eugene F. Buehler, 78 of Genoa , Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Heartland of Oregon after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born on May 18, 1930 to Minor and Margaret (Collins) Buehler. Eugene was employed as a mechanic for 45 years most recently with Toledo Edison, retiring in 1990. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Genoa, V.F.W. Post Clay Center , and the American Legion #324. Eugene enjoyed collecting clocks and restoring a 1947 Plymouth . Surviving is his daughter, Debbie (Mark) Chapinski; sister, Meta (Robert) Sondergeld; grandchildren, Christopher, Connor, and Courtney Chapinski. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Buehler; sons, Ernest and William Buehler. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Internment will take place in Lake Township Cemetery.
