Eugene D. Esling Eugene D. Esling, 90, of Oregon passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2003 in Heartland of Oregon. Mr. Esling was born on January 18, 1913 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Bertha (Cox) Esling. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. Eugene was empolyed as a research technician for 38 years at Libbey Owesn Ford, retiring in 1974. Surviving are his niece, Joan Burns, Velma Boos: nephew, Jack Brillhart and good friend Walter Henry. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 am in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, Starr Avenue at Coy Road where visitation will be 2 to 9 pm on Wednesday.
