Eugene R. Marunowski, 70, of Oak Harbor and Toledo, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2005, in his home. He was born in Cleveland, OH, on February 2, 1934, to Constantine and Laura (Kowalski) Marunowski. Eugene was employed by Liquid Carbonic as a truck driver for many years and was a member of Holy Rosary Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Shirley; sons, Michael (Diann), Greg (Mary) and Richard; sister, Sr. Fidelis Marunowski; brother, Raymond (Mary); 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. His parents; son, Joseph; daughter, Cynthia; 5 brothers and 2 sisters, preceded Eugene in death. Visitation will be held in Holy Rosary Church, 821 N. Wheeling St., Toledo, OH, on Saturday, January 8, 2005, from 12 Noon until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. Eugene's family would like to thank St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their care and concern.
